Strengthening of 110 kV Power Grid Sitorman – Săcele–Mihai Viteazu and Tulcea Vest – Topolog for Renewable Energies

Modernization and capacity increase of the 110 kV power grid: technological rehabilitation and capacity increase of distribution network elements, including modernization of high-voltage lines and substations. This involves the rehabilitation of poles, replacement of active conductors to increase distribution capacity, and specific security measures for the 110 kV lines Sitorman – Săcele – Mihai Viteazu and Tulcea Vest – Topolog. Digital relays will be installed for differential protection of the short 110 kV lines Sitorman – Săcele and Săcele – Mihai Viteazu, and integrated into the National Energy System. Additionally, current transformers will be replaced in the 110/20 kV substations Sitorman, Săcele, Mihai Viteazu, and Topolog. The project covers 37+49.8 km of high-voltage grid and the Sitorman, Săcele, Mihai Viteazu, and Topolog substations. The LEA 110 kV Tulcea Vest - Topolog line is located in Tulcea County, in the rural areas of Topolog, Ciucurova, Nalbant, Frecăței, Cataloi, and Tulcea. In Constanța County, the project involves three 110 kV lines (Sitorman-Săcele, Săcele-Mihai Viteazu, Sitorman-Mihai Viteazu) and three substations (Sitorman, Săcele, Mihai Viteazu). The three lines in Constanța County run on common poles; Sitorman - Săcele is double-circuited with Sitorman - Mihai Viteazu, and Săcele - Mihai Viteazu is double-circuited with Sitorman - Mihai Viteazu. further items as per the tender documents.
