Continuous Feed Printing Systems for the Federal Employment Agency

Purchase of 2 new or as-new continuous feed printing systems (inkjet-based B/W printing, planned upgrade to color printing during the contract period, uniform model series, identical processing speeds of at least approx. 2,000 pages/min. in duplex mode) with the performance features specified in the service description: Delivery and ready-for-operation installation of the systems at the BA in Nuremberg; commissioning Müller Martini for the adaptation of existing "HUNKELER UW8" or "HUNKELER RW8" roll unwind/rewind modules; training of BA internal operating personnel ("User") and in-depth training of team leaders/deputy team leaders ("Super User"); warranty claims (service concept) for 7 years from commissioning; supply of spare and wear parts for the operation of the continuous feed printing systems under a user-charge billing or maintenance flat rate, based on an estimated annual print volume of a total of 750 million A4 pages (almost exclusively duplex printing); supply of black and, if required, color ink including additives such as cleaning fluid and/or finisher (no paper), call-off via catalog procedure, average blackening degree 3% (fluctuation range +/- 10%); optional paid services for system restoration outside regular service hours (Monday - Friday 18:00 - 08:00, Saturday/Sunday/public holidays 00:00 - 24:00); establishment of a free consignment warehouse with common spare and wear parts at the BA in Nuremberg; collection and recycling of the previously used Canon VarioStream 4650 continuous feed printing systems; free return and disposal of empty ink containers, cartridges, or non-functional spare and wear parts during the entire contract period.
