Energy Efficiency Renovation for Residential Blocks 1 and 5, Geoagiu

Energy efficiency renovation for residential blocks 1 and 5 in Geoagiu: Thermal insulation of the building envelope by replacing existing exterior and interior joinery (doors and windows) with high-performance, energy-efficient PVC triple glazing (R’min = 0.83 m²K/W), including automatic door closing devices and self-regulating ventilation flaps. Thermal insulation of opaque exterior walls with 20 cm mineral wool, thermal and waterproofing of the terrace or the slab above the top level, insulation of balconies and loggias with insulating joinery and parapet insulation, thermal insulation of the ground floor/unheated basement slab, and walls separating heated from unheated common areas with 2 cm high-density basalt mineral wool for reveals and sills, and 20 cm mineral wool for the plinth area (extending 40 cm below CTS level). Further construction works include repair of protective sidewalks, plinth waterproofing, rehabilitation of green areas, demolition and reconstruction of the roof and timber frame with profiled ceramic tile covering, renewal of rainwater collection system, repair of facade elements, and restoration of interior finishes. Modernization of technical systems: Installation/rehabilitation/modernization of centralized ventilation systems with a minimum of 75% heat recovery, natural or mechanical ventilation with grilles in apartments, restoration of ventilation ducts in apartments, and installation of ventilation systems in stairwells. New electrical installation for common areas with LED lighting and natural light sensors, lightning protection system, and surge arresters. Installation of an on-grid photovoltaic system (3 kWp) comprising 8 monocrystalline PV panels (375-380 Wp), an aluminum support system, 1 single-phase ON-GRID inverter (3 kW), 1 bidirectional meter, 1 monitoring stick, 100 ml PV cable, and complete connectivity. Grounding belt and grounding of metal enclosures. Installation of electric radiators in stairwells on each level and completion of the existing electrical panel with automatic switches for the electric radiator circuits.
