Disposal of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) from Collection Groups 2, 4, and 5: Collection of devices at the transfer points Deponie Burgdorf (Steinwedeler Strasse, 31303 Burgdorf) and Deponie Kolenfeld (31515 Wunstorf-Kolenfeld), remuneration for acceptance, preparation of devices for reuse or recycling, and fulfillment of obligations according to § 14 para. 5 in conjunction with §§ 20, 22, 25 and 26 ElektroG. In 2025, approximately 730 Mg of SG 2 (screens, monitors, and devices containing screens with a surface area > 100 cm²), approximately 1,560 Mg of SG 4 (large appliances with at least one external dimension > 50 cm, plus a small portion of night storage heaters), and approximately 3,150 Mg of SG 5 were accepted. Maximum quantities are approximately 1,200 Mg for SG 2, approximately 2,000 Mg for SG 4, and 3,500 Mg for SG 5.
