Replacement new construction of the Heinrich-Weitz-Bridge in Linnich: The contract includes road construction works with 700 m³ of earth excavation, new construction of 390 m² paved areas, production of 590 m² mastic asphalt for the bridge superstructure, 310 m² roadway (AC 11 DS / AC 16 BS), construction and dismantling of a temporary construction road of 745 m², and the installation of 30 m of buried drainage pipes. Bridge construction works involve the demolition of the roadway structure with caps (250 m³), dismantling of the steel support structure (250 t), demolition of substructures (350 m³), installation of 1,690 m² sheet piling, 410 m bored piles (Ø 90 cm), earth excavation of 2,330 m³, production of 710 m³ underwater concrete, 600 m³ reinforced concrete substructures, 185 t steel composite structure, 170 m³ caps, and 525 m² bridge pavement. The demolition concept includes the removal of the road surface, waterproofing, and railings, the dismantling of the reinforced concrete road slab by sawing and lifting partial segments using mobile cranes, followed by the field-by-field dismantling of the steel truss girders. Substructures will be demolished at least 1.00 m below ground level, completely if they collide with new structures. Landscaping works include topsoil works (removal, storage, re-covering, disposal) and seeding with site-appropriate standard seed mixtures (RSM) including maintenance services.
