Replacement New Construction of Mittelland Canal Bridge (B3)

Replacement new construction of the bridge over the Mittelland Canal (B3) and road construction measures: Demolition of the Mittelland Canal bridge along the Messeschnellweg (B 3), replacement new construction of the expressway bridge (2 TBW), new construction of two cycle and pedestrian bridges at the same location, new construction of a retaining wall south of the MLK at the Hannover carriageway, and construction and dismantling of the temporary bypass of B 3. This includes demolition of noise barriers and the VZ-bridge. The B 3 road is to be renewed from construction-km 124+924 to construction-km 125+493, and underpasses adapted. Main services include site clearance, pile load tests, multiple traffic safety installations (road) and detour installations (cycle/pedestrian paths), demolition/removal of noise barriers (in partial lengths), construction of temporary bypass, demolition of existing bridges, new construction of retaining wall south of MLK next to the Hannover carriageway (in 2 sections), removal of VZ-bridge south of MLK, construction of replacement structures (2 cycle/pedestrian bridges and 2 TBW for B 3), and road and path construction in the construction area. Cross-section widening according to standard cross-section 31 (RQ) of the Guidelines for the Design of Motorways (RAA) is to be carried out, including widening of both carriageways and adaptation of crown width. The MLK bridge is to be renewed corresponding to the widening, and a retaining wall built south of the MLK at the Hannover carriageway. Additional costs for maintaining public traffic and various traffic phases are not separately compensated. The overall service is to be performed in numerous construction phases/partial services; additional costs for this must be considered in the bid calculation and are not separately compensated.
