Windows and Exterior Doors for Border Control Post at Cologne/Bonn Airport

Installation of windows and exterior doors for the new construction of a border control post at Cologne/Bonn Airport. The new building has no basement and consists of two full floors (ground floor solid construction, upper floor timber construction). The supporting structure is a skeleton construction (reinforced concrete on ground floor, timber on upper floor) with stiffening reinforced concrete walls. Non-load-bearing interior walls are solid (masonry) on the ground floor and lightweight (drywall) on the upper floor. The floor slab and the floor above the ground floor are made of reinforced concrete, the ceiling above the upper floor (flat roof) is made of solid timber. Gross floor area (GFA): approx. 2,800 m², gross volume (GV): approx. 13,290 m³, usable area (UA): approx. 2,230 m². Clear room height ground floor: min. approx. 3.00 m, clear room height upper floor: min. approx. 3.00 m.
