Medium Airport Firefighting Vehicles

Delivery of up to 200 medium airport firefighting vehicles (FLKfz mittel FlPl): 78 FLKfz mittel FlPl are firmly ordered upon contract signing, plus a sample special tool kit IHS 3, documents, and services. The vehicles require StVZO approval, must be left-hand drive, and the driver's cab must be certified according to ECE R29-3. Acceleration from 0-80 km/h in max. 40 seconds, minimum speed of 100 km/h, engine operation according to the single-fuel concept, automatic transmission with torque converter and uninterrupted gear changes. Overall length must not exceed 12.00 m, overall width must not exceed 3.00 m. All drive axles must be equipped with longitudinal and transverse differential locks, and single tires with integrated run-flat elements are required. Integration of military command and radio equipment (pre-installation for end devices), operation in climate zones A2, A3, B3, C0 according to STANAG 4866 and AECTP 230. Equipment includes camouflage and IR lighting, vehicle electrics according to VG 95370. Minimum 7,000 l water tank, minimum 700 l foam tank, minimum 150 Kg powder extinguishing system, fire pump at least FPN 10-8000, front and roof monitors for combined extinguishing agent discharge.
