Delivery and on-site commissioning of a panel saw for the Federal Waterways Engineering and Research Institute (BAW) at the Karlsruhe location: The saw must feature a motor-driven, pivotable saw blade on both sides, motorized height adjustment, a cutting depth of at least 150 mm, a sliding table for 3,000 mm long continuous cuts, and a telescopic extension for cutting lengths over 3,000 mm. Further requirements include a lockable, digital angle and miter stop with at least 45°, controllable vacuum suction on the sliding table, grooves for clamping tools, an on/off switch on the sliding table, a CNC parallel stop up to 1,000 mm cutting width with automatic pivot-away function, automatic dimension correction for raised or flat stop profiles, a table extension of at least 800 mm, powerful and height-adjustable dust extraction, a user-friendly control panel, tool memory for quick blade changes, easy blade replacement, a finger protection system for automatic saw blade lowering when a hand is in the danger zone, and a laser-light indicated protection area around the saw blade (not exceeding laser class 2m). CE conformity of the machine must be proven. Delivery, setup, and commissioning take place on-site, including training and instruction for personnel.
