Research project for considering urban and regional needs in the National and Regional Partnership Plan (NRPP) 2028-2034 for Germany: Support for the technical design process to anchor integrated territorial approaches and contribute to cohesion. The main component is the initiation and technical support of an accompanying process at federal and state level for the future implementation of territorial approaches in the German NRPP. The project comprises three work packages: analysis and evidence of integrated urban and spatial development in Germany and Europe, implementation of the technical federal-state accompanying process, and results and recommendations for the use of territorial approaches in the German NRPP. Duration: October 15, 2026 to March 31, 2028.
