Building Automation for Conversion/Extension of Steinhude Primary School to Full-Day School

Building automation for the conversion and extension of Steinhude Primary School into a full-day school: phased extension of building automation, integration of newly modernized building areas into the existing automation and control technology using the KNX standard protocol. Data points from adjacent trades (electrical, heating/ventilation/sanitary) are integrated via interfaces/gateways into the KNX system and transferred to the existing MBE. The functional scope includes room automation (capture/control of room parameters, heating valves, operating modes), flow temperature control (operation/weather-dependent), window ventilation including night cooling, monitoring and control of ventilation systems (operating states, fault messages, measured values, fire shutdown), and monitoring of electrical systems (operating/fault signals, measured data). Operating modes include school times, holiday operation, and night setback. Electrical meters are integrated via an M-Bus interface into the MBE for the display and analysis of energy and consumption data.
