Building Services General Contractor for ÖVPH AXEL New Construction

Building services general contractor for the implementation of heating, water, sewage, ventilation, electrical, building automation, sprinkler, and gas extinguishing systems: for the new construction of a central fire station in Vaasa, Klemettilä, on an approx. 15,400 m² plot. The project includes a three-story main building, two separate garage buildings, two new vehicle access points, and an emergency access point. Outdoor areas with staff and customer parking, a logistics yard, and asphalt areas for emergency vehicles and training purposes are planned. A training and hose tower of approx. 25 meters in height and a fuel dispensing point are also included. The fire station (RAK 1) has 6,060 brm² and 31,933 m³, garage (RAK 2) 178 brm² and 7,145 m³, garage (RAK 3) 157.0 brm² and 548 m³ with a canopy of 163 m². Fire class P1, indoor climate class S2 or S3, adherence to 'Terve talo' (Healthy House), 'Kuivaketju 10' (Dry Chain 10) concepts, and 'clean fire station' concept, purity management during the construction phase. The contract is a divided contract, with subcontracts subordinated to the main contract. The project is security-classified; design documents are confidential (JulkL (612/1999) 24.1 § 7-8 k) and treated as TL IV, and site practices follow the information security agreement. Contractor procurement is scheduled for 08-10/2026, construction start for 11/2026, and building acceptance for Q1/2028.
