Main Contractor for ÖVPH AXEL New Building

Main contractor for building and civil engineering works, including site management tasks and security-related management tasks, for the construction of a central fire station in Klemettilä, Vaasa. The project includes a three-story main building and two separate garage buildings on an approximately 15,400 m² plot. Two new vehicle access points and an emergency traffic access point will be constructed. Outdoor areas comprise staff and customer parking, a logistics yard, and asphalt areas for emergency traffic and training. A training and hose tower of approximately 25 meters height and a fuel dispensing point are also part of the project. The fire station building (RAK 1) has a gross floor area of 6,060 m² and a volume of 31,933 m³. Garage (RAK 2) covers 178 m² GFA and 7,145 m³ volume, garage (RAK 3) 157.0 m² GFA and 548 m³ volume, including a 163 m² canopy. The building meets fire class P1 and indoor climate class S2 or S3. The "Healthy House", "Dry Chain 10", and "clean fire station" concepts will be applied, with cleanliness management during construction. The project is classified as a security-classified undertaking, with design documents to be kept confidential (TL IV). Contractor procurements are scheduled for 08-10/2026, construction starts 11/2026, and building acceptance is planned for Q1/2028.
