Community-Based Migration Social Work for Resettlers, Asylum Seekers, and Refugees in Potsdam-Mittelmark District

Community-based migration-specific social counseling and support for resettlers, asylum seekers, and refugees outside of transitional housing and collective accommodation in the Potsdam-Mittelmark district: The service includes counseling sessions and support during office hours and in clients' own homes, as well as the initial reception of newly assigned individuals from the Central Initial Reception Facility. Tasks involve social work assistance and information provision regarding refugee protection, asylum procedures, residence status, life perspectives (family reunification, onward migration, return), municipal reception, benefit-related questions, access to target group-specific offers and regular social services, support with personal problems and conflicts, and the promotion of mutual understanding. Goals include the acquisition of German language proficiency, integration into the education system, health maintenance, improvement of housing and employability, and enablement for participation. Client assignment is carried out by the Potsdam-Mittelmark district. Remuneration is provided for at least 60 percent of the clients specified in the lot and price sheet. The tasks are bindingly derived from § 13 of the Ordinance on the Implementation of the State Reception Act (LaufnGDV). Further items as per the tender documents.
