Watercourse restoration Ahr, sub-project ALT380 Hönningen-Liers construction section 01

Watercourse restoration of the Ahr riverbed in the municipality of Hönningen: partial widening and ecological enhancement, main excavation for widening the water flow profile in sub-section ALT380 - Hönningen (BA 01), ecological enhancement of the watercourse and riparian areas. BA01 is located between the Kapellenstraße bridge and the Hönningen bridge currently under construction. The total watercourse length is approx. 1,100 m. BA03 in Liers will be executed in parallel, both sections must be worked on overlapping/in parallel. Services include: preliminary removal of topsoil including vegetation layer, supervision of the construction measure by an explosives expert as a subcontractor, layer-by-layer removal of adjacent bank and foreland areas, removal of any obstacles in the ground (foundations, old utilities), construction of access roads for earthworks/hydraulic engineering, maintenance of material/soil storage, sorted separation and temporary storage of excavated material in the construction field, sampling and analysis of stockpiles located at the central soil storage, collection and transport of stockpiles to a recycling facility, documentation of recycling/disposal, profiling of bank areas, partial installation of embankment/bank stabilization.
