Gold Sputter Target for Magnetron Sputtering System at Institute for Quantum Technology

Delivery of a gold sputter target for the deposition of gold thin films in a magnetron sputtering system at the Institute for Quantum Technology in Ulm: Target material gold (chemical element Au) with a purity of at least 99.99%, dimensions diameter 127 mm, thickness 3 mm. The calculated required quantity of gold is 732.81 g plus any processing losses. The gold target must be mounted on a copper backing plate using indium bonding; the geometry of the copper plate, including mounting holes, is specified in the document '5in membrane backing plate.pdf', thickness 0.25 inches (~6 mm). Billing for the actually used quantity of gold will be at the daily rate upon order placement; for bid submission, a fictitious gold price of 115 Euro per gram is to be assumed.
