Major repair of water supply networks and asphalt pavements on streets „Lyulin”, „Malchika”, „Chavdar Voyvoda”, „Andrey Penev”, „Osvobozhdenie”, „Tsaribrod”, „Atanas Manchev”, „Elin Vrah”, „Boris Hadzhisotirov”, „Rayna Knyaginya”, „Nikolay Laskov”, „Balchik” and „Hristo Kabakchiev” in Krasno Selo quarter, Karnobat: The existing water supply network largely consists of eternit pipes F80 and F125 mm. The drinking water supply comes from a pressure pipeline (approx. 400 m east) and a water tower (south of the quarter). The terrain elevation difference in the quarter is approximately 55 m, so the water supply is divided into two zones. The existing eternit pipelines are severely worn out, with numerous failures and significant losses in the water network. Only on the streets of Krasno Selo quarter have the water pipes not been replaced. After the water pipe replacement, a major repair of the asphalt pavement and adjacent sidewalks will be carried out on all streets. The water supply network in Krasno Selo quarter is in extremely poor condition; the eternit pipes were installed in the 1970s. In recent years, many failures have occurred, leading to significant losses of drinking water. Frequent excavation of asphalt pavements on the streets to repair failures also contributes to their poor condition. Krasno Selo quarter is located in the highest part of the city; during winter months, water leaks and freezing on the streets hinder vehicle traffic and create conditions for accidents. During summer months, frequent failures lead to a lack of water in the highest parts of the quarter. Projects have been developed for the following specialties: Water Supply, Roadway Drainage, Road, Traffic Safety, Geology and Hydrogeology, Geodesy with tracing plans, Geodesy for the Road part, Fire Safety, Occupational Health and Safety, and Waste Management. According to the project, the water supply network on the mentioned streets will be repaired, with a total length of water supply branches of 2,903 m. Asphalt concrete will be laid and sidewalks built on the streets subject to the tender, with a total area of 21,801.80 m². The construction project is included in the Investment Program for municipal objects under the State Budget Law for 2025. The construction and installation works will be carried out in accordance with the Spatial Planning Act, the client's requirements, and the provisions of the approved investment projects. The types and quantities of construction and installation works are specified in the technical specifications.
