Port construction works for Ag. Nikolaos Volimon Zakynthos Port: Anti-wave protection for the northern opening, including the windward pier system (K1-K1'-K2) and breakwater (K3-K3'-K4), and the coastal quay (D1-D2-D3) to create road access to the inner windward pier quay. Construction of a breakwater for the southern opening (K5-K5'-K6) and repair of existing port facilities, including restoration of erosion and undermining of quays, remediation of damage to superstructures and paving of the land zone, and repair of equipment damage. Improvement and expansion of the fishing shelter through extension of the existing pier, replacement of the existing revetment with a shallow quay, construction of a new inclined plane for launching and hauling boats, and completion of the western coastal quays. Landscaping works include asphalt paving of the existing pier, construction of fencing and a pedestrian walkway along the boundaries of the land zone, installation of lighting, and other infrastructure installations.
