Port Services, Storage, and Transport for the Nyköping Combined Heat and Power Plant

Port services, storage, and transport of biofuels for the Nyköping combined heat and power plant: Receiving and unloading bulk fuel from ships, intermediate storage, and transport to the Nyköping heat plant. This includes sampling of received goods, inventory management, and processing of transport documents. Truck deliveries of fuel for intermediate storage in the port are also included. Bids can be submitted for all services (unloading, transport & storage) or split into port services with/without storage, and transport to the Nyköping heat plant. Biofuels consist of wood pellets, recycled wood, chipped/crushed virgin wood chips, bark, or roundwood. Typical load per ship is 1,500 to 5,000 tons. The total annual volume varies between 20,000 and 100,000 tons, with an average of 60,000 to 70,000 tons and a planned increase of approx. 30%. The contract duration is eight years with option calls. Material call-offs are made weekly in writing for the upcoming week; deliveries to other facilities are possible by special agreement.
