Major inspection and CTS/M-104 conversion for subway rail vehicles 8934 and 8935

Major inspection according to § 57 BOStrab and CTS/M-104 conversion for two Robel rail vehicles (model no.: 54.17, vehicle numbers 8934 and 8935) of the Munich subway: The main components for the CTS/M-104 conversion will be provided by Stadtwerke München (SWM). For each vehicle, commissioning with the manufacturer of the CTS/M-104, Siemens Mobility, must be ordered and carried out after the conversion. The work must be performed at the contractor's premises, as SWM does not provide tracks or workshops. The contractor is responsible for the transport of the vehicles outside the depot and must coordinate and commission this independently. Transport by truck is possible (pickup date with at least one week's notice). Transport by rail is technically possible (pickup date with two weeks' notice). The client reserves the right to conduct event-related, production-accompanying, or conversion-accompanying quality control. The contractor must grant the client access to the vehicles, assembly documentation, and relevant test certificates upon request. After recommissioning and submission of the test protocols, a formal acceptance by the client will take place. The conversion services must be carried out considering the requirements and principles of ECM-IV certification (Entity in Charge of Maintenance). All planning, execution, documentation, and quality assurance measures must be performed in accordance with the relevant specifications, processes, and verification obligations of the ECM-IV requirements. The contractor must ensure that the conversion work complies with the requirements for safety, traceability, configuration management, and the technical and operational integrity of the vehicle or the affected systems.
