Installation of heating, ventilation, and cooling systems for the renovation of the Kunsthalle zu Kiel: Heating systems include building supply via district heating, 1 district heating transfer station in redundant design, pump-controlled replenishment device and pressure maintenance with approx. 420 kW heating capacity, approx. 5,200 m steel threaded pipe network including mineral wool insulation, and heating of the premises via approx. 17,000 m underfloor heating/cooling, 28 heating and cooling sails, and 76 radiators. Ventilation systems include 1 primary ventilation unit for outdoor air treatment of three downstream supply air units as full air conditioning systems with nominal volume flows of 3,500 m³/h, 5,900 m³/h, and 4,900 m³/h, 1 central collective exhaust air system with a total volume flow of 13,500 m³/h, 1 full air conditioning system with a volume flow of 7,600 m³/h, 2 partial air conditioning systems with volume flows of 11,200 m³/h and 7,100 m³/h, 1 hydraulic station for a run-around coil system (KVS) with a heat recovery efficiency ηt 1:1 of 71.1% (according to EN 13053 with balanced air volumes) for heat recovery, 4 mechanical smoke extraction systems (MRA) with conveying capacities of 11,700 m³/h, 3,600 m³/h, 14,600 m³/h, and 10,500 m³/h, approx. 4,600 m² air duct network in tightness class C, 110 fire dampers (BSK), and 84 variable volume flow controllers. Cooling systems include 2 propane chillers (outdoor installation), replenishment device and pressure maintenance with 270 cooling capacity each and 275 kW free cooling capacity, approx. 1,700 m steel threaded pipe network including elastomer foam insulation, and cooling of the premises via approx. 17,000 m underfloor heating/cooling and 28 heating and cooling sails.
