High-Capacity NGS/Parallel Sequencing Device for Tyks Laboratories

Delivery of a high-capacity NGS/parallel sequencing device for the Tyks Laboratories of the Varsinais-Suomi wellbeing services county, including maintenance. The device is for diagnostic testing of hereditary and somatic DNA and RNA samples, covering whole exome and whole genome wide studies. It must be capable of running libraries with short-read technology and distance-mapping based technology (providing information from longer genomic regions). Library preparation must be possible using DNA extraction methods currently employed in the laboratory. The NGS/parallel sequencing device must serve as a backup for existing sequencers without extensive validation and offer flexible capacity for routine diagnostics, allowing sequencing of both smaller sample series (maximum 12 samples) and large whole-genome sample series (minimum 48 samples).
