Ground-side Infrastructure Development for Liszt Ferenc International Airport
Reconstruction of the approach road and associated utility network at Liszt Ferenc International Airport for capacity increase and modernization: construction of a new road network of 53,000 m², with 2- and 3-lane collector, service, and bypass roads; construction of a new overpass structure with a free span of 16.6 m; construction of a new parking facility for approximately 1,000 vehicles with asphalt pavement near the “J” Gate road, including utilities, public lighting, landscaping, and related buildings, to replace demolished parking areas near the terminal; complete reconstruction of the utility network (stormwater drainage, sewage, drinking and fire water, IT and electrical networks, and associated substructures); 100% recycling of suitable road pavement demolition materials or transport to a designated depot for later recycling, including material qualification; protection of bird and mammal species and ensuring that relocated protected plant and animal species do not reappear; execution of demolition and construction works according to client specifications, handover of the completed facility; replacement of existing 11kV supply cables for buildings and transformers; planning and permitting support for a car wash next to the “J” Gate parking and its realization; preparation of further documentation (traffic engineering, demolition, organizational plans); restoration works; preparation of technical acceptance and as-built documentation; rectification of defects within the warranty period; ensuring traffic flow and 24/7 airport operation during construction; further items as per the tender documents.
