Engineering Services for the Renovation of "Bayreuther Berg" Road

Engineering services for the renovation of the main road "Bayreuther Berg" in Pottenstein, cadastral district Pottenstein, parcel no. 1191: total length 452 meters, height difference 56 meters, average gradient 12.4 %. The scope of services includes object planning for transport facilities (§ 47 para. 1 S. 2 HOAI), structural engineering (§ 51 para. 1 HOAI), geotechnics (Annex 1.3 HOAI), engineering surveying (Annex 1.4 HOAI), landscape conservation accompanying plan (§ 26 para. 1 HOAI, if required), and special services. The renovation involves the demolition of an old retaining wall, roadway widening, road support using bored piles (alternative solutions welcome), and a new pedestrian path on bored piles. Estimated net construction costs for the cemetery section are approximately 1.4 million Euro (excluding ancillary construction costs), with ancillary construction costs expected to be around 210,000 Euro. Total construction costs for the entire road section are approximately 2 to 3 million Euro. Experience in building hillside/mountain roads, consideration of monument protection concerns, and rockfall protection are required. The road will be completely closed during construction. Assistance with processing funding applications (BayGVFG, FAG) and communication with funding agencies is part of the contract.
