Annual Maintenance of Road, Street, and Track Lighting in Sodankylä

Annual maintenance of road, street, and track lighting owned by the municipality of Sodankylä: Identification and replacement of broken luminaires, ensuring the functionality of the lighting. The sites are partly located in remote villages, but the main focus is on the village center and Luosto. The street network has approximately 70 km (1,800 pcs) of lighting, other roads approximately 46 km (approx. 900 pcs), and track lighting approximately 33 km (760 pcs), totaling 3,200 luminaires. Potential pruning and underground cable faults are repaired on an hourly basis. The contractor procures replacement bulbs or luminaires; the client reimburses material costs plus a maximum 8% margin. A street and road specific quantity list is attached. Road and street lighting maintenance must be completed by September 6, 2026, and track lighting maintenance by September 30, 2026. The work must comply with Finnish laws, regulations, official norms, and industry standards, specifically Infra RYL 2022 and InfraRYL 2025/2: 33000 for electrical, telecommunications, and mechanical systems. The responsible person must have relevant electrical education and at least two (2) years of experience in the field. The operator must be registered with Tukes and possess at least an S2 electrical qualification or equivalent rights (e.g., A- or A(sj)-rights).
