Cardiotechnical Services for University Medicine Frankfurt

Cardiotechnical Services: including provision of personnel, equipment, and consumables for University Medicine Frankfurt (Clinic for Cardiac and Thoracic Vascular Surgery, Clinic of Anesthesia, and Clinic for Cardiology/Internal Medicine, Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory). Annually approximately 1,200 operations in two to three operating theaters with HLM operation, approximately 300 standby interventions (primarily OPCAB), approximately 150 temporary heart support procedures (ECMO/ECLS), approximately 10–20 artificial heart implantations, approximately 5 IABP, and approximately 3–3.5 days standby for transapical and transfemoral valve implantations (TAVI). Provision of at least five full-time cardiotechnicians. Permanent readiness in regular and on-call service, core hours Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 16:00 or 20:00, and on-call hours on weekends and public holidays. Provision of all necessary state-of-the-art equipment, ensuring its permanent technical functionality, maintenance, and performance of safety inspections. Timely and needs-based provision of all necessary consumables, including for ACT measurements and Coagucheck-PTT measurements. Contract duration four years.
