Landscaping Works for the KARLA Administration and Education Center

Earthworks and landscaping for the new Karlsruhe District Administration building on built-over and non-built-over areas, including connection to the building: construction and restoration of sidewalks in Kriegs- and Badenwerkstraße, grass beds in Kriegsstraße, two raised beds (approx. 65m²) with steel edging, perennial beds and meadow areas in Badenwerkstraße, rainwater infiltration via filter substrate channels or green areas, paving of the forecourt with concrete pavers, tree planting areas for new and existing trees, grass joint pavers, protection of the rail monument and fountain, management of the level difference to Beiertheimer Allee using angle support elements and two precast concrete stairs, surfacing of the main access path to the building entrance with bound laid Nagelfluh slabs, installation of a natural stone water table on a built-over area, creation of a paveable tree planting area, installation of a solid wood log bench. Scope of services includes approx. 3,800m² concrete pavers and slabs, approx. 550m² grass joint pavers, approx. 660m² Nagelfluh slabs (bound laid), approx. 430m facade gutters, approx. 100m filter substrate channel, approx. 2,400m² lawn and meadow seeding, approx. 180m² perennial and grass beds, 2 raised beds (approx. 65m²) with steel edging, 21 tree plantings, installation of round benches, a Douglas fir seating block, and other furnishings such as waste bins, bollards, flagpoles, bicycle stands.
