The system is a large-scale cryogenic vacuum system for thermalizing high-energy ion beams, consisting of nested rectangular aluminum vacuum chambers (cold chamber in warm chamber) with integrated titanium beam windows, suspension, and support frame. The service includes complete design (3D modeling, FEM calculations), manufacturing, quality assurance, vacuum testing, and delivery of the assembly including a scissor lift table.

The solution serves as a central platform for process management, process governance and process communication and must include, among other things, flowcharts (FLOW), value chain diagrams (WKD) as well as an interface to SAP Solution Manager Version 7.2 or its successor system. The quantity structure includes licenses for 500 employees (basic access rights for reading and commenting), 5 administrators, 6 key users with full access and 100 approvers/reviewers. The contract term is designed for 6 years (usage phase from 01.01.2027 to 31.12.2032) after an approx. 3-month implementation phase.
