Control System for Surface Transport (ŘSPD) II

Delivery of a new Surface Transport Control System (ŘSPD) for the contracting authority's fleet (buses, trolleybuses, trams) and subsequent support and development for a period of 20 years. The system will operate for all traction types of urban public surface transport in real-time (24/7) with high availability, ensuring a high level of cybersecurity, data, and service protection in compliance with all Czech and EU legal requirements. Components include, in particular: traffic control based on ongoing operations, automated data flow management and mediation between vehicles and dispatch systems, operational information (timetable, vehicle movements, personnel in operation), communication in various directions (driver-dispatcher, vehicle-dispatch center), emergency control and communication (management of crisis situations related to transport and vehicles), provision of data for further processing by other systems, automatic process execution and evaluation based on operational data, vehicle information (energy management, vehicle status). As of December 31, 2025, the contracting authority's fleet comprised 1,192 buses, 38 trolleybuses, and 794 trams. Buses operate 155 lines, trams 36 lines, and trolleybuses 2 lines.
