Delivery, implementation, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of a LiDAR-based Sensor-Based Boarding Supervision (SBBS) for boarding gates in Terminal 1 of Frankfurt/Main Airport: The solution includes sensor hardware, on-premises Edge-AI infrastructure, VPN gateway, and a cloud-based software platform. It is intended for automated detection and real-time alarming of unauthorized double passages (tailgating) at Quick Boarding Gates, recording passenger numbers per boarding event, monitoring queues and occupancy in gate areas, visualizing boarding and de-boarding flow, and providing historical data including event lists and replay function for analysis. Event and KPI data must be integrable into FraAlliance's data infrastructure via documented interfaces (API, MQTT). The rollout is planned for up to 30 gates in concourse A and up to 26 gates in concourses A-Plus and Z, to be delivered in multiple, independently deliverable waves. The contract also covers planning and validation of sensor positions, calibration, acceptance support (FAT/SAT), training, documentation, preventive and corrective maintenance, spare parts supply, security and software updates, and technical support. LiDAR data processing must be fully anonymous; video or biometric data collection is not permitted. Backend and cloud infrastructure must be operated within the EU/EEA. The performance of the solution must be demonstrated through an admission test at Frankfurt Airport. A completed and signed confidentiality agreement must be submitted with the application.
