Supply of electrical energy for the City of Gdańsk

Supply of electrical energy: estimated volume of 97,572.579 MWh for 5,467 consumption points. Billing is based on actual consumption. Distribution services are provided separately through contracts between the consumers and the Distribution System Operator (DSO). The contractor is authorized to register electricity supply contracts with the relevant DSO on behalf of the consumers. Delivery commences after a successful supplier change, the existence of a valid distribution contract, and the termination of existing contracts. For first-time supplier changes, the contractor is obliged to submit a declaration to the DSO on behalf of the contracting authority for an indefinite distribution contract. For points where contracts are already separated, consumers have indefinite distribution contracts. In case of changes during the contract term requiring a new distribution contract, the contractor must submit a declaration of consent to the DSO or conclude a distribution contract on behalf of the consumer. Consumers have the right to freely choose their electricity supplier. The termination of existing contracts is the responsibility of the contracting authority/consumer.
