Modernization, Expansion, and Renovation of the Wastewater Treatment Plant in Nowy Targ
Design and execution of the modernization and construction of the mechanical-biological part of the wastewater treatment plant in Nowy Targ: ensuring an average daily flow of 21,000 m³/d and a population equivalent (PE) of 110,264. The contract includes design, construction works, commissioning, training, tests, handover for operation, and the preparation of all documentation and obtaining all necessary administrative decisions. The works must not impede the operation of the wastewater treatment plant. The investment specifically includes: modernization of the inlet channel with bypass construction, modernization of the main pumping station, modernization and expansion of the coarse screen building (replacement of existing screens with panel-hook screens with 6-8mm perforation, equipped with a press-washer and comminutor system), modernization of grit chambers and sand separators (building renovation, installation/renovation of chain scrapers, new pumps adapted for increased sand pulp, cover repair, valve replacement, addition of new sand separators), modernization of existing primary clarifiers and expansion of the primary sludge pumping station (replacement of scrapers in rectangular clarifiers, wall renovation, bottom reprofiling, modernization of primary sludge discharge, expansion of primary sludge pumping station, installation of a fibrous material separator), construction of a second gravity primary sludge thickener similar to the existing one, expansion of the biological part of the wastewater treatment plant (modernization/expansion of existing reactors, adaptation of SBR reactors to flow-through reactors, separation of dephosphatation, denitrification, and nitrification chambers, installation of slow- and medium-speed mixers, aeration grids, internal recirculation pumps, I&C, alternating control system, construction of three secondary clarifiers equipped with surface and bottom scrapers, a float skimming system and float pumps, an excess sludge pumping station consisting of an external recirculation system (3 operating + 1 standby pump) and a second system for discharging excess sludge to excess sludge thickeners (3 pumps + 1 standby pump), secondary clarifiers equipped with a double-edged trapezoidal weir outflow channel), construction of a floating material pumping station (float tank consisting of wet and dry chambers, dry part equipped with two pumps directing float to the sludge part of the wastewater treatment plant), modernization of the blower station with technological, energy (supply and control), and ventilation installations/equipment (new high-efficiency and energy-saving unit enabling flexible and intermittent operation with biological reactors and cooperating with the existing blower system, renovation and replacement of compressed air pipelines, equipment with regulating dampers and compensating fittings, installation of air flow and pressure measurements on main pipelines, adaptation of the control system), modernization of the digested sludge dewatering building (entire building modernization, replacement of dewatering devices with decanter centrifuges, adaptation of all equipment to new devices, transport of dewatered sludge via conveyor system to the dryer), new treated wastewater measurement system, modernization and expansion of the dewatered sludge dryer (construction of the dryer), technological networks (expansion and modernization of water supply, technological water, heating, energy, sewage networks, other technological pipelines for raw sewage, sand pulp, fat, excess sludge, primary sludge, float pipelines, control system at the wastewater treatment plant and all other necessary networks), hermetization and deodorization (hermetization and deodorization, leading odors to filters; objects for hermetization and deodorization: collection station, inlet channel, dryer).
