Modernization and Repair of the Great Sea Lock Emden: Existing Inner and Outer Head Gates

Repair of existing lock gates for the inner and outer head of the Great Sea Lock Emden: The service includes the repair of the heads, including steel hydraulic engineering and drive technology, considering interfaces to masonry, lock gates, drive and undercarriages, and gate tracks with repair of soles and sills. The construction work will be carried out during ongoing operation of the sea lock and while maintaining public traffic. The goal is to restore functionality and adapt to flood protection requirements for at least 35 years of safe operation. A plot of land measuring 3,500 to 5,000 m² in Emden can be provided rent-free; its use will be considered in the offer evaluation. Further items as per the tender documents.
