New Construction of a Health Campus for Medical School and Training Center

Construction of a teaching and training building on the Pfaff-Areal in Kaiserslautern: The building will house the "Medical School Kaiserslautern - Semmelweis University" (MSK-SE) for the clinical part of medical studies and a training campus for health professions (nursing, ATA/OTA, physiotherapy, further education center). The plot covers approximately 4,000 sqm, with a usable area of approximately 6,000 sqm for the building. The estimated total investment costs, including operating and business equipment, amount to approximately EUR 30 million, roughly equally divided between the MSK-SE building section and the training campus. The MSK-SE will receive rooms for clinical training, teaching infrastructure, offices, teaching, and meeting areas. The training campus includes training rooms for nursing, ATA/OTA, physiotherapy, digital teaching and simulation infrastructure, specialized further education areas, and in-house training programs. Skills Labs will enable simulation-based training for operating room, intensive care, and emergency scenarios. An auditorium area will also be usable for external events, with necessary ancillary and storage areas. A bistro and gastronomy area will be operated externally.
