Architectural planning for the new Cornelia-Funke-Schule school building in Schwalmtal: Fusion of two primary schools for 128 students, construction of a barrier-free passive house school building on a 10,013 m² plot. Area requirements include approx. 500 m² for classrooms, approx. 300 m² for course rooms and library, approx. 200 m² for school administration and staff room, and approx. 200 m² for functional rooms. The service includes the conception of external traffic areas and green spaces, including pathways, barrier-free access, and infrastructure such as teacher parking and waste areas, considering noise, visual protection, and accident prevention related to the B254. Safety and fire protection concepts must also be developed in accordance with school building guidelines, AV-Schulbau Hessen, ASR, and fire protection regulations.
