Track superstructure renovation for Sulzfeld train station

Track superstructure renovation for line 94201, Grötzingen - Eppingen, in the area of Sulzfeld train station (km 34.0+94 to km 35.3+65): fundamental renovation of tracks 1 and 2, including entry switches 101, 107, and switch 102; complete renewal of the superstructure and improvement of the load-bearing capacity of the soil layer with a binder; dismantling and disposal of the track system, removal of excavated ballast, temporary storage of switches, dismantling of cable troughs, and temporary securing of the cable system; new construction of a drainage system with deep drainage and infiltration and evaporation swales; replacement of cable crossings in the superstructure with underground crossings; renewal of cable troughs; sectional installation of edge path constructions from old rails and ballast retention plates; improvement of subgrade load-bearing capacity through flat incorporation of a lime-cement mixture; supply of B 70 and B 90 prestressed concrete sleepers, track ballast; construction of ballast track superstructure with concrete sleepers and Vignole rails; assembly and installation of 4 switches (switches, sleeper sets, and rails will be provided by the client); restoration of track coverings at crossings after completion of works. Scope of dismantling: approx. 650 m cable troughs and temporary cable securing, 4 units of switch constructions, approx. 4,200 m rails (Form 49E1 or 54E4), approx. 200 units of concrete sleepers, approx. 2,700 units of steel trough sleepers, approx. 900 units of wooden sleepers, approx. 6,000 t excavated ballast, approx. 2,300 m² topsoil removal, approx. 1,100 m³ soil removal, 2 units of track coverings in crossings. Scope of new construction: approx. 12,000 m² soil improvement with lime-cement mixture and subgrade, approx. 660 m deep drainage including inspection shafts, approx. 600 m infiltration and evaporation swales, approx. 650 cable troughs, 4 units of cable crossings in open construction including cable shafts, approx. 2,200 m ballast track superstructure with concrete sleepers and Vignole rails, 4 units of switch installation, approx. 650 m edge paths, approx. 100 m edge path construction with ballast retention plates, 2 units of covering of crossings; further items as per the tender documents.
