Architectural planning for fire protection renovation at the Institute of Aerospace Engineering, RWTH Aachen (Building 20, WE 2110) at Wüllnerstraße 7, 52062 Aachen: Planning and implementation of construction measures to achieve a fire protection standard compliant with BauO NRW 2018. This includes creating a second escape route via an external fire escape, fire protection upgrading of building components and escape routes, facade and shaft adaptations, and coordination of necessary building construction measures. The building is a reinforced concrete skeleton structure with a post-and-beam facade, three basements, and seven above-ground floors (ground floor to 6th floor), built in 1965, fundamentally renovated in 1997.
