Public Passenger Transport Services by Motor Vehicles for the 'Verden Ost' Line Bundle
Public passenger transport services by motor vehicles: Direct award of a public service contract to Verdener Verkehrsgesellschaft mbH (VVG) for the 'Verden Ost' line bundle in the district of Verden. Services include scheduled transport according to §§ 42–44 PBefG, operable with buses and other motor vehicles. The annual volume is approximately 1.28 million scheduled kilometers for scheduled services (§ 42 PBefG) plus kilometers for flexible on-demand services (dial-a-ride taxi). The operator is obliged to provide the necessary vehicles and infrastructure. The transport offer is adaptable to changing transport needs, financial conditions, and local transport plans, including changes to lines, timetables, tariffs, service forms, and quality standards. An exclusive right according to Art. 2 lit. f VO (EG) Nr. 1370/2007 and § 8a Abs. 8 PBefG will be granted.
