Local construction supervision for grade-separated expansion of Frankenschnellweg, West section
Overall construction management and local construction supervision for the expansion of the Frankenschnellweg from the Nürnberg/Fürth interchange to the Nürnberg-Westring interchange (Jansenbrücke), length approx. 2 km. The project includes road and civil engineering works, divided into three lots: Lot 1 (Road construction): Complete renewal of the road structure (full reconstruction) and road drainage. Lot 2 (Civil engineering): Construction of up to 8.0 m high, curved noise barriers on both sides of the Frankenschnellweg, construction of straight noise barriers on the Jansenbrücke, upgrading of the southern exit ramp of the Jansenbrücke, erection of two traffic sign gantries. Lot 3 (Replacement new construction of bridge over Sigmundstraße): Renewal of the bridge structure over Sigmundstraße (Sigmundbrücke) as an integral steel composite structure.
