Passenger transport services by motor vehicles for line bundles 8 and 9 in Main-Kinzig-Kreis

Passenger transport services by motor vehicles: Direct award of a public service contract to Regionalverkehr Main-Kinzig GmbH for all public passenger transport services in line bundles 8 and 9 in Main-Kinzig-Kreis. This includes scheduled and demand-responsive services, and line demand services using buses and cars. The services to be awarded amount to approximately 1.7 (+ 0.05) million timetable kilometers per year for line traffic. The operator is obliged to provide the necessary vehicles, infrastructure, and charging infrastructure for e-buses. Sales tasks and customer service within the Rhein-Main-Verkehrsverbund (RMV) are also included. The contract allows for adjustments to the transport offer (type, scope, quality, transport fares) based on changing transport needs, financial conditions, local transport plans, and other circumstances. An exclusive right according to Art. 2 lit. f VO 1370/2007 and § 8a Abs. 8 PBefG will be granted, further items as per the tender documents.
