Design and construction of an ERTMS/ETCS Level 2 system for railway lines 133 and 134, section Sosnowiec Jęzor – Kraków Główny: Creation of preliminary documentation (design concept, data preparation rules, operational scenarios, update of railway traffic rules Ir-1b, test cases), project documentation for construction works and permits, technical and operational documentation (Ie-100a), as-built documentation including geodetic survey, execution of all construction works and preparatory activities, conformity assessment of the "Control – trackside devices" subsystem (design and final tests), and obtaining the operating permit from the President of the Office of Rail Transport. The implementation period is 26 months from contract signing, with completion of all works, as-built documentation, and certification documents within 20 months, and operating permits as well as final and operational acceptances within 26 months. Optional services include the extension to railway line 134 Jaworzno Szczakowa – Mysłowice (from km 0.220 to km 6.624) and railway line 133 Dąbrowa Górnicza Ząbkowice – Kraków Główny (from km 14.925 to km 20.740), to be executed within 18 months after option activation. Another option involves changes to installed ERTMS/ETCS Level 2 devices to ensure the RBC – RBC Handover function with ETCS Level 2 devices on adjacent lines, to be executed within 4 months after option activation. The leading trades are railway traffic control (srk), telecommunications, and power engineering; further items as per the tender documents.
