Design and Construction of a Fiber Optic Connection for Optical Satellite Station and Quantum Communication in Kąkolewo
Design and construction of a fiber optic connection: linking the optical satellite station and terrestrial quantum communication building in Kąkolewo (plot 391/33) with the Technical Halls Building of the Polish Optical Internet Research Center in Poznań (ul. Jana Pawła II 10). The technical infrastructure will consist of an underground cable duct of type HDPE40/3.7 with a fiber optic cable of type A-DQ2Y (equivalent to Z-XOTKtsd) with dry core sealing. The scope of work includes developing a technical concept, comprehensive project documentation according to the Functional-Utility Program (PFU), delivery of all necessary materials and equipment (excluding fiber optic cable, multi-fiber connectors, pigtails, and fiber optic adapters, which will be supplied by the client no later than 30.09.2028), construction of underground cable duct sections, laying of localization cable and warning tape, installation of cable reservoirs with marking and measurement posts, building a cable well on an existing cable duct, laying fiber optic cable in new and existing (partially occupied) cable ducts, and in existing cable conduits (in an additional HDPE32/2.9 pipe), leaving technological reserves of fiber optic cable in wells, reservoirs, and buildings, making through fiber optic splices, introducing and terminating fiber optic cable in buildings, laying multi-fiber connectors in the CBPIO building in Poznań, and preparing as-built documentation with reflectometric and transmission measurements. Execution is based on the PFU, whose parameters are estimated values. A site visit is recommended but not mandatory; the warranty period starts from the final acceptance.
