Portal for the Release of Medical Image Data: Direct release from existing clinical systems (PACS, KIS, RIS) with generation of a release document including a link and QR code. The portal supports examination-based release from PACS and case-based release from KIS/RIS. Access to released image data is provided via an intuitive web-based user interface with an integrated DICOM viewer and download option. Redundant data storage is minimized, with primary referencing to the image archive. Temporary caching of image data occurs within the clinic network; full deployment within the clinic network is preferred.
