Sampling and Analysis of Private Water Supplies in County Wexford

Sampling and analysis of drinking water for small private regulated water supplies in County Wexford: Monitoring of approximately 170 existing group water schemes and private premises (e.g., caravan parks, schools, estates), with an expected addition of up to 15 further schemes in 2026. Services include compliance and occasional investigative water sampling and analysis according to S.I. No. 99/2023 – European Union (Drinking Water) Regulations 2023. Each scheme requires two check samples annually; some schemes need additional check and/or audit samples. Analysis of compliance samples (except for free and total chlorine, odour, taste, and Dalapon) must be accredited. Occasional investigative samples typically include duplicate samples for coliforms, E. coli, free and total chlorine; further parameters are possible. Results are to be reported monthly to Wexford County Council. The appointed laboratory must be accredited to !NAB (or equivalent) for all relevant parameters. The current contract ends on December 31st, 2026.
