Project Planning for Road Relocation II/366, Stage 2 Prostějov

Project planning for the Stage 2 relocation of road II/366 in Prostějov: The objective is to divert transit traffic arriving from Plumlov away from the Prostějov city center. The bypass route is located in an undeveloped area northwest of Prostějov, passing through the cadastral areas of Smržice and Mostkovice. The bypass begins at the currently constructed roundabout on Za Kostelecká street, which is part of the northeastern Prostějov bypass project. The route leads northwest to road II/37760, then follows it with minor adjustments to directional radii in accordance with ČSN 73 6101, up to the existing intersection of road II/150 with roads III/37762 and III/37760 near the cemetery and solar panel park at Mostkovice, where it will terminate with a new intersection (variant 3). The route only approaches the built-up area at its end, connecting to the existing road II/150 for approximately 140 m. Conflicts with technical infrastructure occur only at the end of the route. Conflicts with utility networks will be resolved by relocation. The road is designed in category S7,5/90, with a lane width of 3.25 m, a guiding strip width of 0.25 m, and a paved shoulder width of 0.50 m. The transverse slope along the entire bypass route is 2.50 %, and 4.00 % on the intersection arm towards Prostějov (according to ČSN 73 6101, table 9). For the first approximately 1.700 km, the bypass route runs over agricultural land, then follows the existing road III/37760, and connects to the existing road II/150 via an intersection. At km 1.500, it crosses road III/37762 (a level crossing to be determined). The intersection with road II/150 includes separate lanes for right and left turns from and to the bypass. The connection of road III/37761 to road II/150 will be cancelled; III/37761 will be reclassified as a local road with a turnaround proposed at its end. Road III/37760 will also be reclassified as a local road and interrupted (reclaimed) between the cemetery and the existing water tower to prevent access to road II/150, also with a turnaround proposed at its end. An exit from the existing road II/150 is planned for servicing the water tower and adjacent parcels. Furthermore, a separating railing will be installed on road III/37762 behind the bridge over the Hloučela to prevent passenger vehicle passage, while the bridge remains passable for cyclists. The planning includes the relocation of utility networks (high-voltage lines, communication lines, gas pipelines) and a double-sided tree avenue along the bypass. The contractor will evaluate future waste and propose methods for its maximum possible reuse in construction, recycling, or disposal. The estimated investment costs are 231 million CZK excluding VAT. Project documentation at all stages will be prepared using the BIM method, including the creation of a building information model (IMS) and information containers, in accordance with the BIM protocol and its appendices (EIR, preliminary BIM execution plan). further items as per the tender documents.
