Ball Valves DP100 for Gas Transmission Pipelines

Manufacturing, testing, documentation, and delivery of fully welded ball valves of pressure rating DP100 for gas transmission pipelines in nominal sizes DN 100, DN 200, DN 300, and DN 400 for underground installation. The ball valves are suitable for underground gas transmission infrastructures and hydrogen applications, featuring a telescopic extension for functional lines and actuation with a minimum length of 2.0 m. The design ensures a minimum pipe cover of 1.0 m, allowing lubrication, drainage lines, and position indicators to be housed within a street cap of size 4 according to DIN 3581. The ball valves are to be of full-welded construction with a purely metallic sealing system; the ball and seat rings must have a tungsten carbide coating (TCC) with a minimum layer thickness of 250 µm. A sealant system with check valves is also required. Features include upward-guided lubrication and drainage lines, an emergency stem sealing, and a bottom-mounted gearbox. Additionally, housing ventilation, housing drainage with shut-off valves, and a mechanically designed actuation suitable for the intended purpose are to be provided. The weld ends are to be executed as extended pipe ends (pipe-pups) on both sides, designed according to the respective nominal size and pipe dimension. The materials used must comply with the requirements of DIN EN ISO 3183 for PSL2 pipes, with different material grades applied depending on the nominal size. The external polyurethane coating, according to DIN EN 10290, must have a minimum layer thickness of 3 mm and be suitable for a test voltage of at least 25 kV, with corresponding testing. Manufacturing, testing, and delivery of the ball valves must conform to DVGW-Arbeitsblatt G 463, DIN 3230-5 (test group 3), and DIN EN 14141. For hydrogen applications, the ball valves must additionally meet the requirements of DVGW-Merkblatt G 406, with hydrogen suitability to be demonstrated by suitable technical documents and evidence. The scope of delivery and documentation includes acceptance test certificates according to DIN EN 10204 (3.1 or 3.2), complete and unambiguous component identification, and submission of required technical documentation, drawings, test reports, and inspection and test plans (ITPs) for review and approval by the client before delivery.
