Qualification system for assessing companies for trenching and pipeline construction works

Pipeline construction in the distribution network of Hamburger Energiewerke GmbH: Construction works including site setup, welding, dismantling, core drilling, coordination with post-insulators, leak tests, as well as technical processing and documentation. Requirements include at least one authorized site manager per construction site, impeccable work equipment and facilities, self-monitoring of services, and sufficient operational resources such as a daily staffed office, depot, workshop, vehicle fleet, crew accommodation, barrier devices, and surveying equipment. For emergency interventions on the district heating network, a team must be available within two hours of notification, equipped with 1 master foreman, 1 welder, 1 fitter, 1 truck, 1 crane or Unimog with loading crane, 1 power generator with lamps, 1 diesel welding unit or welding transformer, and 1 complete cutting torch set. Additionally, 6m each of plastic-jacketed and steel pipes in nominal sizes DN 50 to 150 must be stocked for short-term access. Proof of suitability for emergency construction sites, experience in the district heating network, and a concept for handling emergencies are required.
