Aptitude diagnostic consulting services: Execution of selection procedures for GAD career paths (middle, higher, senior foreign service) with 1 written and 1 oral procedure per calendar year for training cohorts of 30-50 persons (middle service, senior service) or 30-100 persons (higher service), with an average of 500-1,000, 950-1,400, or 1,400-2,700 applications. Additionally, approx. 3 internal selection procedures for further qualification/promotion from the collective bargaining sector/middle service to the higher service and from the higher to the senior service. Annually up to 10 selection procedures for lateral entrants (higher service officials) with an 18-month qualification measure. Approx. 3-5 selection procedures for lecturers at the Foreign Service Academy for permanent or temporary teaching positions. For collective bargaining employees: typically 2 oral procedures for approx. 20-30 positions as foreign language assistants (approx. 200-300 applications), approx. 25 procedures for about 100 positions as administrative/office clerks (technical, non-technical, IT sector), approx. 15 procedures for 20 positions as specialists/consultants (technical, non-technical, IT sector), approx. 10 selection procedures for drivers, house and order service, telephone exchange, caretakers. At the BfAA, approx. 8 selection procedures annually for positions in general administrative service or specialized workplaces.
