Manufacturing and Qualification of an X-ray Optical Block (BOX) for Plasma Diagnostics (Soft X-ray Imager) for the Laser Mégajoule (LMJ): Analysis of the technical definition provided by CEA and demonstration of its suitability to achieve specified performance, manufacturing, control, and qualification of the BOX. This optical block consists of two double-mirror measurement channels, each comprising a plane mirror and a toroidal mirror, inserted under secondary vacuum. The scope includes the study and manufacturing of the opto-mechanical sub-assemblies of the BOX (mechanical and optical parts), integration and pre-alignment of the BOX on a specific visible optical bench, assistance with BOX qualification on an X-ray generator at the CEA site, provision of handling equipment, tools, and associated documentation. The contract comprises a firm part covering the analysis of the definition file provided by CEA and detailed optical and mechanical justifications to validate all desired performances, and an optional part covering the manufacturing, factory acceptance, and on-site qualification of the BOX and support means, as well as the procurement of necessary materials and equipment. Additional optional parts concern similar BOX designs also integrating X-ray mirror imaging channels.
