Restoration of Wooden Windows and Facade Elements for KGB

Restoration of wooden facade elements: Dismantling, transport, and storage, removal of pollutant-laden wood coatings, restoration, re-glazing, and re-coating, as well as re-assembly. This includes 22 facade elements (16-part, with 8 fixed glazings, 4 window sashes, 4 closed parapets, each 3.78 x 2.98 m) for the east facade on the 1st and 2nd floors. On the west facade, 1st floor, 10 window elements (each 3.60 – 3.73 x 3.15 m) are to be processed, comprising 8 pieces (6-part, with 2 transom fixed glazings, 2 window sashes, 2 closed wooden parapets, window type B11) and 2 pieces (5-part, with 1 wooden door, 2 transom fixed glazings, 1 fixed glazing, 1 closed wooden parapet, window type B12). On the west facade, ground floor, 10 window elements (each 3.60 – 3.70 x 1.70/2.98 m, window type B01/B02) are to be processed, comprising 9 pieces (2-part, with 2 window sashes) and 1 piece (3-part, with 1 wooden door, 2 fixed glazings). Furthermore, approximately 600 m of window sills and reveals (waste wood category IV) are to be dismantled and disposed of, and approximately 250 m² of double-pane insulating glass are to be replaced and disposed of. The manufacturing and installation of new wooden window elements as reproductions include 7 pieces of window type B01 (west and east facade), 3 pieces of window type B11 (west side), 1 piece of window type B12 (west side), and 4 pieces of window type B15/B16 (now aluminum, east side). Renewal of approximately 885 m of window sills and reveals. The services also include documentation of the work in accordance with monument protection, planning services, and work against proof.
